| MaryAnn Cozzens - Director; Non-voting Board Member
MaryAnn has been working in the field of Early Childhood since 1979. This is MaryAnn's 26th year at CEL. MaryAnn says, "The world needs people who can think creatively and work together. I am proud to be the Director of CEL, where we all understand that play is the work of children." |
 | Janet Condon - Education Coordinator; Teacher
Janet has been a teacher at CEL since 1988. Aside from her duties as a most fabulous Pre-K teacher, Janet holds the title of Education Coordinator. Janet provides insight and training to staff and has been an invaluable partner in the production of our staff manual. |
 | Heather Asselin - Teacher
Heather graduated from the BOCES Early Childhood Program as well as the ACC Early Childhood Certificate Program with her Associates Degree. She is currently in her 6th year as a teacher here. She has been working with Janet in the Pre-K program for the past couple of years. |
 | Valerie Santerre - Teacher
Valerie has been working in the field of Early Childhood for 20 plus years. She received her AA degree in Early Childhood from Hudson Valley. Valerie currently works with the three-year-olds with Christie Sokol and Connie Meehan. |
 | Christie Sokol -Teacher
Christie began working here with the two-year-olds in 2009. She moved up with her group and has joined Valerie in the Independent Learners classroom. Christie has her BS in social work, specializing in work with children and families. |
 | Joelle Normandin - Teacher
Joelle is teaching in our Guided Learners classroom this year. She has been involved at CEL on and off over the past 20 years as both a teacher and a parent. Joelle studied at the University of Connecticut. She is working with Kerry Woodworth. |
 | Kerry Woodworth- Teacher
Kerry was was both a teacher and a parent in our program. Now that her twins are in elementary school, Kerry is working with Joelle in the Guided Learners program. Kerry holds a BS from the State University at Oneonta in Elementary Ed. |

| Christine Robichaud- Assistant Teacher
Christine comes to us highly recommended by her instructors at ACC. She completed both the BOCES child care program and the ACC certificate program along with her Associates. Christine will continue working toward her BA while she works as the Pre-K classroom assistant teacher. (teacher-in-training) |
| Jennifer Stafford- Office/Classroom/BOD Assistant
Jennifer joins the staff as an assistant to the staff and the director. Along with her office duties, she helps in classrooms and in Lunch Bunch. |
Board of Directors (Sept. 1, 2011 - Aug. 31, 2012)
The Board of Directors is actively seeking letters of interest from anyone wishing to help CEL thrive. The BOD members are responsible for attending one meeting per month. The BOD exists to insure the fiscal success of CEL as well as create policy and support and oversee the Director. Submit your letter of interest to:
